My computer says windows failed to start when I turn it on.

Do you get a blue screen or an error code . What OS are you running

If you could post a link to an image of your error message if you get one that would be great. Did you recently upgrade to Windows 10, install new software or add/remove parts from your machine?

If you forgot your password you should still be able to boot. If you need to reset your password try a password cracking utility such as ophcrack.
