Sadly, there really no means to alter the amount of RAM or flash storage your phone has. It would be cheaper just to replace it with a newer unit (upgrade) if your service offers it.
What you might find useful is getting an external flash drive that can connect to your phone to off load some of your stuff.

For iPhone 5s, it is not economically viable to upgrade storage, especially as a DIY job. The tools alone can cost you several iPhone 5s.
