Why are my buttons and touch screen not working?
i dropped the phone and it cracked, now the touch screen does nt work including the home button

The crack you see is likely on the digitizer, or commonly known as "the glass." This is an active part that senses touch, so physical damage can interrupt function. It will need to be replaced, and since it looks like the home/menu buttons are part of this, that will solve that issue as well.
