Can this corrosion be fixed?

I spilled water on my MacBook almost a week ago. I used instructions I found on this site to remove the logic board and clean the corrosion off with 91% isoprypol but the computer still won't start.

This is the only damage that I can see: http://imgur.com/JYewgNF

Here's what it probably used to look like: http://imgur.com/Lj8gQei

Can someone tell me what this thing is, and also, is there any chance of fixing it?

Take a larger area picture so I can identify on schematic , although I think those pads are unconnected which will have no affect to the board.

I added another picture

The pads are unconnected so the corrosion is not affecting the motherboard. There are many places on motherboards where the engineers factor for different design but are unused.

@stanleydo , this answer is not to diagnsoe your board. It is strictly to answer your question in regards to the solder pads. Looks like John is right on with his suspicion of those pads being unoccupied. Those are place holder for R5440 and U5440 which are components for Current Sense (IO3R) but are omitted. Those are not an issues.
