Why is half of my iPhone 5c screen unresponsive?

About 2 days ago I accidentally dropped my iPhone 5c and it landed screen-first onto hard ground. Luckily there was no crack so at first I was relieved that it looked like I escaped having a damaged phone. Unfortunately upon using the phone, I found out that the screen's touch sensor would go nuts after a few minutes of use, opening aps when I didn't click on them, registrating touches everywhere, stuff like that, and it wouldn't go away until I turned my phone off and back on. I have had this problem before but those occurrances were very rare. But for the first day after I dropped my phone, this started to happen pretty much every time after a few minutes of use and it started to get unbearable.

But then it gets better; yesterday I thought about cleaning my phone's screen and see if that would do the trick. Using Windex, I cleaned it and for about an hour it looked like it worked because the screen was getting messed up less frequently.

But then, I have no idea how this happened, but after I reseted my phone following one of those glitchy screen messes, I turned it back on only to see that my ENTIRE left half of the screen just went DEAD to touch sensors. With the exception of a very few times if I tap the screen hard, now my left side of the screen is totally unresponsive. Luckily my password does not use the left-side numbers of 1, 4, or 7, so I can still get into my phone, but it is really hard to manage phone use when I can't use half the screen. While the glitchy touch sensors did stop, this was not what I wanted in replace of it. Also sometimes when I turn my phone on the entire screen randomly decides to stop working, even the right side. While turning it off and back on makes the right side work again, I have been almost completely unable to make the left side work.

There is no visible screen cracks or LCD white line cracks on my screen, even on the unresponsive left side, so I am a bit confused as to what could have went wrong when I dropped my phone, and even more confused as to how my left screen decided to stop working just randomly out of nowhere, following a day of dealing with glitchy touch sensors.

This is a very clear thing. The name of the rare things are ''Ghost touch". From the moment you dropped your phone it goes wild. That is definitely screen damage, the screen may be not cracked or something but from the inside it is. The only way to solve this problem is to replace your screen.
