Mainboard Identification after Destroying it with Wine

Hey There,

i've got an Macbook that isn't working anymore without specifications. My Buddy said, he threw a glass of wine over it. After that it stopped working Properly and does not boot anymore.

No I want to Replace the whole Logicboard. But i cant find the Right identification Number. Where to buy the new one?

This ist it! There is nothing on the Logicboard itself. Is it worth of trying it to Repair or buy a new Logicboard?

If the wine entered through the keyboard and got to the logic board, which it appears that it did, in my estimate the cost and labor involved in those makes a repair cost prohibitive. Look at the LDVS connector and see if you think it got hit too. How long has it been sitting and corroding?

Where exactly is the LDVS connector located?

See sep #14 of this guide, it it's corroded the display is probably gone too:

It looks okay to me.

But you think it isn't worth, to buy a new Mainboard an try it again?

The keyboard would be the place to start. You can get that part for about $30
