Connection to dock fails

I have a peculiar symptom:

The T100 I have has 2 docks available, one with the HDD, the other one without.

I cannot use any of the 2 docks because they will not make a connection, unless I open the combination less than 90 degrees. Not really workable.

Since both docks behave the same, my 'conclusion' is that the problem lies with the connector on the motherboard.

What can I do here?
