Can you remove the VESA mount from a late 2015 Retina iMac
I have a late 2015 model Retina iMac with a 27 inch display. The iMac was purchased direct from Apple with a VESA mount pre-installed. The mount is secured to the iMac with two pentalobe screws. Does anybody know what size pentalobe screw's are used on this model iMac?
EDIT, 02/11/16 @ 16:36
I have a desk mount which is designed to attach to an iMac both with and without the VESA bracket installed. Without the VESA bracket is a much neater solution because the mount attaches directly to the metal bar which the VESA bracket would normally be secured to. Officially this mode only works with pre-2012 iMac’s where the desk stand could be removed; however I see no reason why I couldn’t remove the VESA bracket installed by Apple and attach the desk mount. That is unless there are additional screws which are not accessible from the outside of the iMac.
Ist dies eine gute Frage?
