Why doesnt my Mac start even when I replaced the battery?
I replaced the old battery with a brand new one and when i put the adapter, it lights red to show its charging, after a while, it brings green meaning the battery is full but when i try to switch it on, it lasts at most 3 seconds and goes off. What could be the problem? Kindly Advise. Thanks

Before giving an answer, I would disconnect the battery and while plugged in, start the computer and tell us what happens. If the same issue occurs, we can confer it is not the new battery causing the issue and we can go from there. Also, is there a chime when you attempt to boot it? Thanks!
