Hello, I had the same issue with mine, and after scouring the internet I found the CORRECT replacement DJ jack part via an Aliexpress seller. I had to order 4 different jacks, 2 different times, but finally the 6 month search ended with the right part.

In case that seller link dies, you can source out your own by searching “Sony DC power jack” and the part/model number is “DC-022”. Good Luck!

I got the DC Power Port/Jack on Alibaba.
It's a Sony, and it's black in color.
Here is the part description and number:
DC POWER JACK CHARGING SOCKET PLUG PORT FOR SONY VAIO PCG-8L3L PCG-8L4L PCG-8L5L PCG-954A
The store front name on Alibaba is: "Glcome Store"

Thank you Kevin Madden, I ordered the exact DC in Power Port that you suggested but the OD of the yellow port was too small for the OD of the Sony AC Power Adapter male jack. By chance do you know the Manufacturer and Part Number of the port that worked for you Sir?
