I have a 80GB iPod Classic and the volume is stuck at maximum. I can use the wheel and the display shows it going up and down but the volume is always at max and changing the volume limit doesn`t do anything. I have tried restoring it and resetting it several times and nothing makes a difference.
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

Hi,
Try plugging the device into an iPod dock or something that doesn't use the headphone jack to play the sound and test it there. If it still has the same issue it is possibly a damaged logic board. If you can adjust the sound normally there then it's likely an issue with the headphone jack / cable.
