That's the ground clip to the frame and the mother board, top left of the motherboard.
There's also a spacer ring that goes in between the frame as well.

He's correct. It goes in the top, next to the rear camera of the iPhone 6+ and iPhone 6S+. There are two screws that hold this grounding bracket in place. One that goes parallel to the camera, and one that goes into the frame
It goes between the 3.5mm audio jack and the housing.

My guess is either it came from the rear camera metal cover. What part were you replacing? That will give a good hint to us.
