screen backlight darker on the right side

Hi everyone,

I just replaced my iphone 6 plus screen with the parts I ordered from iFixit. Following the step by step video after I turned on the phone I find out that the right side of the screen are darker especially on the top right. The oringinal screen does not have this issue. Could someone please tell me if it is the replace screen issue or it is something I did is wrong during the assembling? Thanks a lot for your help.

This is a belated answer so hopefully it can be of use to folks who search for and find this question.

This can be caused by either a defective backlight within the screen assembly or a damaged backlight circuit on the logic board. If the original screen does not have this issue but the replacement one does, then the issue is with the replacement screen. Contacting your vendor (in this case iFixit) is the proper next step.

That`s the problem of light driver ic or the ways of voltage run to lcd,Iphone 6plus have two light drive ic ,Check the lcd connector pin is in ok condition or not or check the track from light ic to lcd connector.
