my laptop display is split and nothing is changing , it use to start well but after sometime the display split but now it remain split always even after powering it off the whole night. can it be my video card has a problem?

hi
it's the graphic chipset man.
disassemble your computer then heat the graphic chipset for about 2mn then let it cool down 1 hour. then assemble evrything and power on.

Try connecting an external monitor to your laptop and see what the display is like on it.

problem still exist with external monitor but these time white vertical lines.

and the problem persits on the main notebook display or on the external monitor ? for me this seems to be kinda display damage, or the wiring. not software or gpu.
