2 camera and flash not working after strip down
i did a strip down to change my charge port and once installed the rear camera and flash started to play up. also systemUI report came up.
what i have discovered is when i take the phone out of its metal back case and start it up, every thing works well!! once i put it all back together it stops working again after a few days!! i feel its more of a software issue the hardware?
i have factory reset it many time but the rear cam and flash only works when i dismantle it!
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

i forgot to mention that the only thing i removed and fitted was the board that hold the phono jack, cleaned it and put it back! could this cause the software to play up ? i did check the cables where the flash and camera is attached but all seemed ok...

Hi,
Just reading your original question. 'It works well out of its' metal back case' to me implies that when it is in its' METAL case either the metal is touching something it shouldn't or the case is applying pressure to something it shouldn't. Metal is a conductor. Check that the case will not come into contact with anything that it shouldn't. Just a thought

Or if extremely unlucky the connection for the rear camera is loose and needs to be replugging in. If that is the case that would be the assembler at fault in the factory.

thats guys i checked that teminals are all good so it seems... but i was thinking possibly not earthing propperly on to the case or like jayeff said possible pressure applying some how.... not sure but maybe i could have damaged something or could static cause it to play up??
will try 4th tear down !

so update... i took it apart and the camera and flash started to work again also when i fitted back in the case but only lasted about 4 day not its not working. im pretty sure it will once i take it out again and re fit. any ideas??
