My iphone 7 is damaged and at the time it was not connected to iCloud and it cannot be connected to iTunes. I want to erase the data manually. Where can I find the chip that holds all the photos/data info in the phone? So I can remove it or make sure its damaged enough so it cannot be retrieved incase I ever were to attempt to have it repaired or give it away?

Follow this guide till step 14.
The first component listed in that step and marked in RED is the NAND.
That NAND is the storage chip that holds your data. If you damage it enough physically, your data will be gone. If you snap the board in half just NORTH of this chip and destroy EITHER the top or the bottom part (or both), you data will also be long gone.
