Where to buy replacement parts

Crashed my Mavic and broke an arm off, damaged the main body in the front, and broke off the gimbal entirely. Anyone know where you can buy replacement parts, or will the official repair service be my only option?

Ist dies eine gute Frage?

Excel Drones (exceldrones.com) carries almost all DJI repair parts. They do service as well.

This is the best I could find. Note that some of the big parts (i.e. Mid frame) are only sold to "authorized specialist dealers".

$105 US for the parts, assuming the gimbal itself is fine (looks to be), just need to find an authorized repair person to buy them through, which would never happen. DJI would probably to try sell me a new gimbal if I send it in for repairs, and I'm guessing this will cost an arm and several legs total. :/

You might be able to find an authorized dealer willing to purchase the parts for you. If not at cost, they may be willing to do it for a 10% market for their time.

The other thing is it might be worth checking what it takes to become an authorized dealer. Sometimes it's just filling out some paperwork.

Not a bad idea with seeing what it takes to get authorized. Crashed on the last thing I was doing before bringing it in to leave for work so didn't have time to turn it back on and make sure there's no damage to the electronics inside. Do they expect to find anything like that online, so could have no choice at all but let them repair it.

I completely understand. Check out http://ifixit.org/right, and support any Right to Repair legislation in your state.

I hope I've been of some help to you.

Well i have had ever sort of R.C models you could think of and my Mavic being the most expensive by far. I have repaired most off them myself and found parts easy to get hold off. I am disgust with DJI , THEY want to do all the repairs ( rip off ) and making it hard to get hold of parts. Wished i never bought it as good as it is .

DJI are one of the few companies who will actually sell parts to 3rd party repair centres and individuals, but unfortunately in this case, they are not selling many parts for this model yet, either because it is new or more complex to repair than the older ones.

You can find a link to their parts page here http://store.dji.com/category/mavic-acce... , I couldn't find what you need, so it might be best to send it in for repair.

Try Aliexpress.com. I've successfully replaced a torn gimbal ribbon and a vibration absorbing board, without any technical knowledge or expertise, other than replacing a few iPhone screens. You can find the flex ribbon (nicely wrapped and put in a plastic box) for around $14 and the vibration board (it was boxed as an original part) for $20.

If I can do it, anybody can. You just need some patience, the right tools and some informative videos from youtube.

There are several small dealers who part out new DJI and other quad manufacturer products to offer as spare parts. You can find some on large online marketplaces, some have their own website:
