My daughters dsXL is not charging. I think the charging port in the back of the ds is bad. I need to wiggle it around and even doing the the light doesnt come on. How much to fix. TY

I would definitely recommend calling a local shop to get their pricing, but if you're just looking for a round about figure, if it is the charging port that is the problem, the replacement cost where I work should be around $100 in most cases. Many times with the cost of those devices, it tends to be more economical to buy a new device versus having it repaired. Hopefully this answers your question.

@vtownhog , Fil, This is really not a repair for the inexperienced because the charge port for your device is soldered to the mother board and the heat generated could cause further damage if not very careful. In case you would like to attempt the repair yourself or a handy family member/friend, find below a link to show disassembly and a link showing the charge port being replaced in the 2DS. If port is undamaged, it may just need resoldered to board. If not wanting to attempt the repair pop into a local computer repair shop and get an estimate. Good luck.
