I changed the iphone back and new screen when i got it together it all works except back light stays dim if you slide it to the right and keep your finger on it gets bright but as soon as you let go it dims back down but no matter if its at 25% 50% or 100% is stays same when you let go. Only at 100% and finger still on it does it get brighter

This could be related to the screen itself i would try a additional screen.
If the problem persists it is most likley your backlight ic on the logic board.

Yeah did same on other screens but if it was ic wouldnt i not work at all
No the IC can still work its just failing until it fails it will continue to function.
Hope it's not one of the 2 data lines going from the CPU and pmic to the backlight IC telling it to dim, that would be horrible.
Agreed gigabit878 that would be a definite pain
Ok any tips on what kind of micro solder to use and and replacing ic
