It Won't power on

My led TV won't power on.

Its a Sony kdl46hx800 and I've had it about a month. the store won't take it back until I have the unit examined by a service tech.

While I'm waiting for a service tech (ETA 2 weeks!) I'm looking for help.

What I've done:

Tested the power strip/surge protector.

Tested the wall outlet.

Tested the remote's batteries with a multimeter.

Consulted Sony's web site which listed the above basics only.

Symptoms:

There a no leds lit which would indicate either that I have power or that the self diagnostics have detected a problem.

The power save switch is on as required to power on the TV.

I pressed the power on button on the set of course.

I checked the sync function on the remote and it is off as required to turn the TV on or off.

I unplugged the TV as suggested by Sony to reset the unit to factory defaults.

None of the above worked. I'm afraid the power board failed.

Any help will be appreciated.
