If it is the pre-retina model you have, then you can replace the keyboard on its own. Apple are very specific about the way they provide their parts, so they include the keyboard as part of the top case unit, but we sell both the top cases with their keyboards included, and the keyboards separate to the aluminium chassis.
This makes the options for doing rebuilds much greater.
Just be aware that different keyboard languages have different shaped keyboards, so you need to make sure you get the right shape for your language. But we have them listed here as a reference.

The 13" models keyboard is held in with about 48x PH000 (small philips) screws, so take your time on this process, as you dont want to strip any of the screws, otherwise you'll get movement when you try and type.
Make sure you've mention the right range though, as the retina machines have a very different built type, and instead of screws they used metal lugs to hold the keyboard in place... a completely different ball game there.
I hope this helps.
