Some keys and track pad not working g

So. I have a acer aspire s3 ms2346. I had to change the lcd ribbon cable as it was broken (side note this is a spare laptop that I thought I would never fix so it's been sitting unused for about 6 months)

So anyway I changed the ribbon cable not a problem and turn the computer on and low and behold it works!

But blah I soon notice the letters p and 8 9 and 0 and bksp didn't work I thought hmmm that's strange maybe i didn't connect the keyboard ribbon cable back properly. So checked it looked fine, cable looked fine from the front and put everything back and turned it on. Still nada. So I don't know what I've done! Gahhh laptops are stupid.... Any thoughts?
