Translucent box around apps
How do I get rid of the translucent box around my bottom apps (the four chosen apps at the bottom of the screen)

It depends on your IOS version. There were some bugs that hid it temporarily but that's it.
For a permanent solution you need to jailbreak your device and install a tweak.
If you manage to jailbreak your device come back here and i'll provide further steps.
