Hi, i have the same problem. I turn on the computer, and i get a black screen with a small blue rectangle asking " enter password".
I tipped Alt+r and it appears a message with a date 2011/01/01.
Can someone help me with this?

As far as I can understand there is an BIOS password on it.
There are several ways how you can reset it.
Most common one, is to remove CMOS battery inside your laptop.
Usually they look like one in photo, but there are occasions where it can be in different shapes and sizes.
Even if you don't have good knowledge about laptops, you can still take back of it, find that battery, take it out for atleast 1 minute, put it back and it should work.
