iPhoto crop function works 20% of the time.

When cropping a photo, the cropped area will highlight properly, but after selecting the crop icon, nothing happens and the photo remains the original size.

Einstellungen

First I would check to see if it has enough "scratch space". That's free hard disk space. For doing photos I would have at least 15% of my drive free. Next I would increase to the maximum amount of RAM.
