Digitizer not snapping into place/button not seated
I have dont my first digitizer/lcd replacement... cant get it back in place..also home button is not seated properly
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

which ipod 2g do you have? I assume its a touch ;-)I would double check my work and use the guide to verify that everything is done properly. Also verify not once but twice that you have the right parts.iPod Touch 2nd Generation Display Replacement Good Luck

I would also make sure that the battery, mainboard and stainless cover are seated properly. Also, make sure that the screws are screwed all the way in. And of course, follow Oldturkey03's suggestion and make sure that you installed the correct part. Good luck!
