iPhone SE no longer vibrates and volume up button doesn't work
I was just wondering if it would be possible to fix this myself, and if so which parts I would need to buy?
Thanks,
Luke

there isn't a guide to replace the power/volume flex on the SE, so follow this guide to replacing, the guide is for the iPhone 5s which has very similar internals to the SE, use an iPhone SE guide to cross reference the parts of the guide that don't match the SE.
It isn't a difficult job to do if you have any skill in the area.

I have now replaced the power/volume flex. The initial problem remains. Volume up and vibrate still do not work. Now that the flex cable has been eliminated as the source of the problem, what else could be causing this?
I would check the logic board connections for the power/volume flex and look for any damage to the pins.

you would need to remove the battery and replace the volume flex

Thanks for your reply.
Would a fault in the volume flex cause both of the the two problems described? Is that why they both stopped working at the same time?

its possible as the volume and vibrate switch are on the same flex

Is there a guide for the SE to replace this or do I have to follow this one for the 5?
iPhone 5 Audiosteuerungs- und Power Button-Kabel ersetzen
What would the differences be? Are there different parts inside? Would I for example need new adhesive strips for the battery?

iPhone SE Vibrationsmotor austauschen
Here is the guide. the vibrator motor makes contact with the volume flex to connect, so replacing the volume flex should fix both issues.
