What happens if I buy a smartphone with non removable battery but don't unbox it and leave it without charging for months. Will it cause damage to the battery or phone?

Hi!
You phone should be fine if you don't charge it for months, the battery will simply enter in a low power mode and in some cases may only need a higher charging voltage once unboxed (but only for the first time). Just don't store it for years. That could render it unusable.
