power button blinking continuously and will not power on
left working and plugged in while out of town for 5 days, now this when I came home. What happened and how can I fix it?

Have you tried unplugging it and taking out the battery. Then put the battery back in and try starting it again.

yes did that and also pressed and held button 20 secs then plugged back in and reinserted battery, same blinking. devastated!

I'm sorry I can not be of any other help, that is the only way I know how to fix it. You should most likely take it to a repair shop then.

Deves tirar a bateria e abre o computador e desconecta a pilha CMOS e depois volta a conectar a pilha CMOS, fecha o computador e coloca novamente a bateria, assim que colocares a carregar o computador voltará a funcionar lindamente.
