How I can change the fan settings to active rather passive?

It should be an option in the BIOS. When you boot up your laptop, it should say something like this at the bottom: "Press F-- to access the BIOS". Press that key. You may have to try this more than once. Once you've accessed the BIOS, use the arrow keys and enter to navigate to the settings. If you can't find the correct setting, reset the BIOS. That option will be on the last page of the BIOS screen.
