1 Why can't I shift 2003 Cav manual transmission into any gear?
2003 Cavalier with manual transmission lost ability to shift while shifting from 1st to 2nd. The shifter feels loose now and I am unable to shift into any gear. I am able to move the shifter into the correct positions, but feels loose- like something (shifter linkage?) has become disconnected or broken, and does not move manual transmission into any gear at all. What do you think? Where can I find a free diagram to isolate suspected components?

Have the same issue but linkage works fine can't go into gear with or without clutch meaning free play like linkage is broke but on the trans where the linkage is hook to moves freely thanks for any advice
