This guide is a bit more detailed on removing the panel. It is for an iMac, but the procedure should be pretty much the same.

Here's the tear down. This will show you how to get into it. There's a video also. Use a non-ammonia glass cleaner such as Sprayway, applied to a very soft cloth. Do not spray cleaner directly onto electronics.
