2 Left I/O connector is damaged
Hello Guys,
I have a tough one for ya. I have a Logic-board 820-00138-A with a damaged I/O connector (connector A). Does anyone know If I can replace the connector with a connector B (from the I/O cable) or have a source for this part, other than buying a whole Logic-board? Both A and B connectors are the same size and each have 20 pins. I also tested the female side of the I/O cable and it does fit both A and B connectors.
tl;dr: Can I De-solder this connector from an I/O cable and reuse it, or do I have to buy another Logic board?

Update: This connector is the worst. I managed to misplace a couple of these arch pins.

I've never micro soldered so I bet @tcrs_circuit could help you out.

@anthonyj - You still need to figure out what caused the short and if more damage is present on the logic board.
