MacBook Air vertical rainbow stripes issues after hinge replacement
MacBook Air 1.6 GHz Core 2 Duo 2GB RAM 60 GIG PATA 10.6.6
I have a A1237 MBA which and just repaired the right hinge, and after putting it all back together, I get a white screen at start up, and on the right side of the LCD i get vertical multi-colored stripes that run up and down the entire side of the screen.
I wonder if it is as simple as the LCD cable contacts? I hate to tear it back down.
I am also wondering if I applied too much pressure on the LCD screen while reapplying the LCD trim (which I bent a little bit) and caused this issue???
My display worked perfectly prior to the tear down, so I doubt it is the LCD Screen or cable, I don't know which to rule out?
Obviously I have done something to either the display, logic board, or cable when I put it back together. I have taken apart many machines (never a MBA) so I was very careful.
Anyone have any ideas?
Ist dies eine gute Frage?
Does anyone have any suggestions for me?
