My toaster is brand new and i used only once. The second time, the ON light kept turned on even though the oven was off. Is there anything I can do to turn it off?

Don't know your toaster but was wondering if the timer control knob should be at the red arrow position and not at the blue arrow position as shown in the image below. Apologies if you have it already there

If this is incorrect, I suggest that you contact Black & Decker customer support either for an answer to your problem or if the toaster is faulty what to do to get a manufacturer's warranty repair or replacement.
