my phone is in recovery mode and i cant restore nor upgrade my device is that a problem from the baseband and if yes how can i fix it?

Typically if your iPhone is stuck in recovery mode, this automatically means you have to kiss goodbye your current iPhone data and settings. Can you post back a little more information? What happened that it went into recovery mode? was it dropped, water damage, etc... and what error is Itunes giving you when you try to restore it?
