Grey Vertical lines then freezes and restarts itself.

My late 2011/2012 MacBook Pro was working fine 2 days ago and then the screen went grey with grey/white vertical lines flashing. It then went to a black screen, restarted itself and had red and grey vertical lines across the screen with the Apple logo and progress bar. I tried restarting it and it’ll work fine about 1min and then this happens again. Also tried recovery mode restart and nothing.
