I got this ps4 for Christmas and its been working fine up until today it just beeps once then shuts off and the blue light flashes for a second. anyone know how to fix this

I know this is against the principle of this whole forum, but I'm not going to recommend fixing something that new. If it was purchased for Christmas, it would still be under warranty with Sony. Call them, tell them what happened, they will probably replace it. Good luck, tell me if you need more help.

I was just wondering if the was an easy fix without having to go inside the ps4
I tried contacting Sony for a while now and nothing I just want to know if I can just unplug it for five minutes or something I just wanna use my PlayStation
@raging I don't belie there is an easy fix without voiding the warranty. Trust me, it's that new and I wouldn't try anything if I were you. I can understand that it would suck not having your console for a bit. Good luck with Sony.
So ive been looking at it and I think its probably roaches because I think I saw a roach crawling in the system
@raging Yeah that's a well known issue with the PS4 family of systems Sony should replace that.

Whenever I went to plug my ps4 into the wall the outlet popped (electrical pop) and now my ps4 won't turn on I have tried many different working outlets and it won't turn on. I know it's not roaches or anything cause it's a brand new house. Is there a chance that I fried something on the inside of the ps4?

My ps4 slim will not turn on i dont know why but it wont yesterday I put it on rest mode and now it won't turn on so is there any advice that I can do to fix it

I'm having the same problem with my ps4 slim only difference is I bought it second hand so not sure if it's still under warranty any way I can fix this
