My MacBook Keeps Locking Up

My MacBook Pro locks up all the time, when installing software, when attaching devices, when moving the mouse. It will lock up at random and have to be rebooted two or three times before it corrects itself and works for a little while then it locks up again.

I had the battery replaced as Apple suggested but it did not help. I'm replacing the HD with an SSD drive this week. If that doesn't work what could be the problem???? Logicboard????? HELP!!! I thought Macs were more reliable than PC's???
