Why won't the 2ds turn on?

At first, the lcd screen got damaged by water(The rest of the console worked just fine, but the screen was black) i decided to replace the screen, but now I have the problem that many other people had:After turning on the console, only the Led lights up and after a couple of seconds the device turns off with a pop.

I tried fixing the two big ribbon cables as many guides suggest but I didn't get any results. Any help?
