No sound when Aux is pluged in

Hello I have a problem with my beats studio 2.0.

Somehow they have stopped working. Whenever I plug the aux cord into the headphones they turn of or reset. After i turn them back on I cant here anything. I tried to remove and reattach the battery but still no change. Maybe someone has had a similar problem?
