After having had the motherboard repaired for signal loss, I’ve put it back and everything works fine except the front camera. Rear camera works fine and I've tried 2 other front camera flexes which work on other phones. Any ideas apart from a motherboard which might still be faulty ?

Hello Malcom,
This is most likely another logic board issue. I believe this is the issue because I have this same issue on my iPhone 6. I'm upgrading soon so it doesn't bother me, but when it did, I did my research and you most likely need a new camera FPC connector. Sadly, I do not have a tutorial, but you seem to know what you're doing since you did some micro soldering for signal loss. Once you replace the connector, everything should be back to normal. If not, it maybe just a faulty logic board.

Thanks SectorGaming. ...makes sense and I think the micro soldering will be beyond my repair skills. I will send the board back to China where there are specialists for motherboard repairs.
