Have you tried to reset the tablet?
This is from the User Manual
Please charge the battery for half an hour and then long-press the power key for over 10 seconds to restart. Press the Reset button behind the micro SD card slot cover, but please be noted that this method should be used carefully

You're probably correct regarding the A10-70, but the above answer was for a Tab 2 A10-70 not an A10-70.
They're 2 different models.

I know this is super old but for posterity and anyone attempting to fix one of these tablets in the future, I'm going to correct this. And even though you linked a lenovo page for the "A10-70" I can find no reference to it anywhere else and cannot find it for sale anywhere as anything but the Tab 2. I believe that lenovo page was made in error unless you can find evidence elsewhere.
@Saul Cohen was also correct - there is no reset button behind the sd slot cover.
I'm currently working on several of these with this issue and will comment back here if I fix it so that in the unlikely event that someone works on these in the future they can know how to fix it

I found this when searching for a Lenovo A7600-F as is shown in the Lenovo link I posted above i.e. A10-70 Tablet (A7600, A7600-F, A7600-H)
Here's also a review for the same model
Guess they didn't like calling it an A10-70 but went with the specific model number(s)

@jayeff Yeah I believe that's just the A7600. If you google Lenovo A10-70 (which came in the F and L models) even Lenovo's website only pulls up the Tab 2 which while it looks similar, has the rear camera in a different spot.

If you look at this ebay listing you can see in the third pic that it's labeled as such on the device as well:

The tab 2 A10-70 is labeled as that on device as well. I think the a7600 just been erroneously labeled as that on some websites since they look similar.
Either way, the A10-70F (or L) does not have a reset button behind the SD card cover, which I can tell you for sure because I have one in front of me.
