MacBook works fine, but randomly the lcd looks like it’s “crashed”.
Happen few minutes after startup and if I reboot it works perfect again.
It change the way it looks each time it freeze. Two examples below.

Plug an external display and try if the issue happens, this looks like GPU crash to me since you mention the system hangs when it happens.

I just had the same thing happen to me. Took it into Apple after weeks of diagnosing the problem. Turns out its the CPU. They will have to replace the CPU/Logic Board. Will take 10 days for them to fix apparently. Luckily mine is under Apple Care. I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) with 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7.
