New battery won't charge

Zweite iPhone Generation. Modell A1241 mit 8 oder 16 GB Kapazität und schwarzer oder weißer Kunststoff-Rückseite. Die Reparatur ist leichter zu bewerkstelligen als beim iPhone 1. Es werden Schraubendreher, Hebelwerkzeuge und Saugnäpfe benötigt.

New battery won't charge

I replaced the battery and dock and the battery will not charge. It will sync with itunes and the mic worked until the new battery died, is it possibly the charging circuit? I got the phone in a trade for my laptop so I don't know it's history, the water indicators are still white so no water damage.

It could be the dock that you purchased has faulty charging pins. If the iPhone still syncs with iTunes, it seems like the dock is connected to the logic board properly but the dock itself is faulty. Return the dock to the merchant if you can.
