1 Could dead keyboard be the reason for A1534 MacBook 12 not turning on?
I'm considering purchasing a liquid damaged Macbook.
Judging by the pictures and seller description the logic board doesn't seem to be affected by the spill. Is it possible that the logic board itself is fine, but the power button on keyboard does not work?
I want to make it my first laptop I get back working myself. I've watched tutorials on how to replace the keyboard and I think I can follow them, but troubleshooting the logic board might be too much for me right now.
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

Hi,
It could be the keyboard but I would not take the risk. If the is broken it is very hard to find the broken part and replace it with microsoldering. I would wait until I find a MacBook that you are sure you can fix.
But if you think it is the keyboard buy it to a fair price.

Thank you for suggestion. I think I will give it a shot and buy the broken Macbook.
When it arrives I will let you know if keyboard replacement worked and what was wrong with it.
