I spilled water and it got in my tablet it has a crack in the screen, I quickly grabbed it up and in a panic tried to fling the water outans swung it and patted it against the bed then shut it off . My boyfriend took a blow-dryer on low and no heat to it then I tried to turn it on it loaded to the recovery mode but stays stuck on the initial coman page when I try to factory reset or restart or anything, it just acts like it's going to but then comes back to that same list of commands

Hi @melin

As you know water and electronics and electricity are not a good mix.

The impurities in the water causes corrosion and provides circuit paths for the electricity which were not in the tablet’s operating design and could damage the components. The corrosion process starts immediately and continues until it has been cleaned properly

First do not turn on your tablet and then you need to remove the battery as soon as possible from the tablet to minimize further damage.''

Then you need to dis-assemble the rest of the tablet and clean all the affected parts using Isopropyl Alcohol 90%+ (available at most pharmacies),to remove all traces of corrosion and water. Do not use "rubbing alcohol" as in some cases this is only 70%, can contain scents and is not as effective. If you do check the label to verify the amount of IPA

Here is a link that in general, describes the process.

Electronics Water Damage

As always with electronics, especially surface mounted PCBs be gentle when handling and especially when brushing away the corrosion. You do not want to remove any components from the board.

Hopefully after you have done all this the tablet might possibly work correctly again.

Here is a link to a video showing the dis-assembly of your model tablet, which may be of some help.

If this process seems too daunting, take your tablet to a reputable, professional mobile phone repair service experienced in water damage repair and ask for a quote for a repair.

If you decide to do this, do it sooner than later.

I have the same problem with my tab E after hours of pain staking research I have discovered a fix for this problem.

I had to join a Samsung fan club and download the stock firmware, signup for said fan club, I'll post a link for you, anyway you can get there stock firmware in thirty seconds if you pay for a membership or waite the 90 min for the firmware for free the firmware I'd preloaded in Odin once you have the latest odin download on your PC put your tab in download mode power/ volume down/ home key; @ the same time then hook up tab too the pc with the proper USB cord follow the instruction your tab E will be like brand new. On a side note this process will also bypass a “FRP" lock as a bonus.

Link samclub.com I think lol anyway good luck.
