Rigth fan runs at max RPM after opening the device.

I deceided to replace the thermal compound on my macbook pro 15 2017, but after that one of the fans runs at max RPM (6000). I took it apart for a second time and double checked that everything is pluged all the way in. Then I ran the diagnostics tool, it gave me reference code PPF003 (Problem with the fan). The last thin I checked was the temperature sensors and everything looked ok . I dont belive that the fan just faild the same day I opened the laptop, so I am looking for ideas. What sould I check next?

The right fan is a bit wacky as it has two connections, the first is from the fan to the uppercase connector, then on the corner of the logic board there is a connection from the uppercase to the logic board. Make sure you have properly seated this conn chin as well. You may need to undo them both to inspect the contacts of both connector pairs for a bent contact pin.
