2017 trackpad replacement part work in 2018?
Is the 2017 trackpad you guys have for replacements work in the new 2018?

Finding the part will be next to impossible. You will void your warranty. How about just removing it and cleaning the dirt out. See step #6 of this guide: MacBook Pro 13" Touch Bar 2018 Teardown If this becomes an issue it will probably get covered like the keyboards have.

May I ask why you need to replace it?

after a few minutes of not using it, on the first click it almost feels as if theres dirt in-between the pad and the click mechanism but its very faint so I know apple will not fix it and if they do it will be sent out for a week to do it so I would rather just replace the trackpad myself knowing it shouldn't be like that because my work one runs fine all the time
