Touch not working on OEM screen but yes on aftermarket

Im getting this issue with an iPhone 8.

Touch functionality doesn’t work with an specific OEM screen, but if i replace it with an aftermarket screen touch will work.

If I use that same OEM screen on another iPhone 8 touch works properly.

Any one else encountered this issue?

It might be an issue with the logic board if it’s exclusive to your phone.

Connect the OEM lcd check if it has apple logos and connect it to pc put in DFU mode and restore it. New software might help the issue sense its only working with aftermarket. If you have other OEM lcds try a different one maybe you broke the digitizer on the OEM screen.

Normally as you probably know we see it the other way around where unless you’re fully up to date the after market digitizers wouldn’t work. sorry I can’t help you. Would like to know if you ever find an answer

The OEM will work flawless on a different iPhone 8. Already tried dfu, upgrade to ios12 then downgrade, issue persist.

I have the same issue but only after replacing the screen with what I was told was a “Refurb” (OEM). I have tested 5 other refub screens on the phone that I know are 100% refurbished and they don’t work. The touch is totally dead. However the one screen that does work is a screen I purchased for a seller who claimed they use refurbs. The screen looks like a refurb.

so 5 OEM don’t work but one screen does. I’m here asking because the one that does work is ghost touching and sometimes not responding. Factory reset on 3uTools and updates all done but no luck with the OEM Refurb
